King of the hammers is awesome, went a few years back and it is eye opening to say the least. If you go you will enjoy the hell out of it. If i was still in 29Palms I would join you, maybe one day i will go back there for a few years.

If you go, and bring the Power Wagon, you need to take a trip to Big Bear and go down the John Bull trail, it is awesome.

would be cool to see other PW's at the event. My Buddy James ownes "Copperhead Fabrication" within 1/4" mile of the KOH event. He volunteered to let us stage out at his shop, or we just camp out at the event. I should be buying the flight tickets within the next few weeks, to fly to SD to pick up the Dodge and go from there.

Then dropping the Dodge back at the storage place, then fly back to Florida, then trying to plan the 2 week trip to run the Baja :) ANyone up to join in on the 2 week run down the penninsula??????

I will be arriving in San Diego to pick up my rig on Tuesday Feb 4th and will be driving to KOH that day, and staying through Sunday Feb 9th. Hooking up with the Crew at Copperhead Fabrication about 1/2 mile from the event. Prob nobody will show up from this forum, but I just wanted to let you all know where/when I will be in case any of you get a wild hair up your ass to attend a KILLER EVENT!!!!!! ;) I will be camping with all the others at the staging area for the event. I will have my Daughter with me (age 13) who LOVES anything involving adrenaline. We already reserved helicopter rides during the event to observe the race from the air.
