I'm sure the Power Wagon with the soft flexy suspension rides a lot smoother than the stiff suspension Tremor. 8-)

The 7.3 makes 500+ HP on an engine dyno with headers and no accessories. However, it comes with a 100lb+ weight penalty over the old cast iron Windsors and a 200lb+ weight penalty over a Coyote. There is a lot of potential in the 7.3 but it is a heavy engine with a large form factor and tall deck height. One of the reasons to go with gas over diesel is the weight savings; the 7.3gas gives up 100lb of that weight savings.

I just looked under the hood of a 6.7 Powerstroke. I have no intentions of ever having to work on one. The gas engine must do better at accessibility and simplicity than the diesel does.

Not having diesel emissions, nor complexity, in the form of a big block engine with a heavy casting and big displacement, gives the 7.3 a lot of potential for being a legitimate long-life hard use workhorse for guys that need a diesel but don’t want the issues of them.

Wonder if you have to raise the cab to work on them like the diesel?

So for another round of shits and giggles I decided to drive this truck again yesterday. This time I took it through some twisty corners and bumpy roads. Here’s a few thoughts:
-The truck is taller than a stock Power Wagon. At 6’8” I was happy it had the steps
-Still impressed with the power and the 10spd Automatic
-For a 3/4 ton it rides pretty nice, but it’s firmer than my 2012 Power Wagon
-The interior space in the front and back seat is really nice
-The infotainment system is better than my 2012, but way behind the 2020 Ram
-The different drive modes are interesting, but kind of a butt pain to play with at first

All in all, a really nice truck. Not something I’m going to buy, but I really did like the truck.

After reading this it sounds like the f250 gassers will most likely have a more off road friendly suspension compared to the diesel and f350 variants...
