Installed my Thuren drag link and new SmartBar.

I got my steering wheel almost dead centered with the Thuren drag link. From what I read. It would be close but not centered.

The SmartBar weights about 75 lbs. It's not light.

Took the new SmartBar apart to see how much grease is in it. It's not packed, but everything is coated.

Took the old SmartBar apart. From other posts, and pictures. I was expecting the housing to be filled with dirt and mud.

The 1st pic. Have some play in the housing. When I push up on the bar. It wiggles.

The other pic's. No mud, or dirt inside the housing. I thought there would be some. Everything is still coated with grease.

Yep! I still have to install the bypass yet. This weekend I hope.

You still want a SmartBar to play with?

Have the 250 amp DC Power Hi Output alternator and their cable kit installed. It was pretty much straight forward on the install. On the cable kit. They give you two positive cables and one negative cable and a fuse box that holds either a 250 or 300 amp fuse. I got the 250 amp fuse. The long positive cable goes from the alternator to the fuse box. Then the short positive cable goes from the fuse box to the lug on the main fuse box. You need to get another positive from the main fuse box lug to the battery. I'm trying to get a piece of cable from DC Power. But they take their time in answering e-mails. Have the negative cable going from the battery to another spot on the frame.

Go to go up load pictures and they are to big.

Pic's of the DC Power 270 amp alternator. I have the 250 amp fusible link up on the A/C fan shroud. The DC cable kit really it's worth it. you can get the 1/0 cables from BatteryCablesUSA. You can almost get any length you want.

Install my new LED back up bulbs. The LED bulbs are GTR Lighting from Headlight Revolution. Little pricey at 89.00 a pair. I already had a set of LED bulbs in. These are so much brighter. The new bulbs have a huge heat sink around them.

Nice work. I've been looking for something to brighten up the back...was thinking flush mount floods in the bumper but this might be a better solution to hacking up my bumper.

I put those same reverse lights in last year. I think it was worth it. I can actually see with my back up camera at night, although I think it would be worth it even w/o the camera. I've been considering the HID conversions for the front projectors, but at $300 + I am hesitant in dropping that kind of coin.

Big difference over the stock light bulb. Even the cheap LED bulbs I had in there.

I have the LED headlight bulbs to install next. Before I do that. I have to refinish the lens on the headlights first. Both sides are a bit weathered.

Yeah, I have the sport light package with projector beams. From what I have researched LEDs don't work as well as the HIDs in projector beams, whereas LEDs work well with a reflector style headlights. I might just try a better halogen bulb first before forking out the $$$ on HID.

Installed the Diablosport tune today. The tune is the 87 octane for now. Now my PW is no longer a dog. It runs pretty good. I e-mailed back some logs to Hemifever to let him play with it. See what he comes up with.

The tops of my headlights was clouding over, plus the front of the lens clouding too. So I refinished them using the Rain-X kit plus the Meguiars headlight coating spray. The Rain-X coating that comes in the kit I've used before and didn't like it. The Meguiars spray is easier to use, and does a better job. The Rain-X kit comes with different sanding disc's, and polishing compound. A cordless drill and a spray bottle of water, plus a little time. The lens came out pretty. good. Wonder how long it will last.
