So, I crunched my right rear door at Moab
I'm thinking the offer I have for a used but much less damaged door delivered for about $600 is the cheapest way to fix it. This is for a same model year same color door. Anyone disagree?
The door works, the window works, it's weather tight, but it's actually more damaged then the picture shows. It's got a crack in the paint where the skin attaches to the forward frame.
The right front door is a bit dinged, but I think that is fixable for a reasonable amount of money.

Yeah, if you can get an entire door for $600 that'll be a lot cheaper than trying to get it repaired. I had similar damage, although not as bad, on my rocker panel and was quoted something outrageous like $2k to fix

Adds character...
Yes, $600 is smoking deal. My Chevy was hit in the side by a neighbor one day, door repair (similar amount of damage) and a little bit to the quarter panel, plus a repaint of the entire side and insurance picked up $6k.

OK, so ebay it is. Apparently it came off a 2018 power wagon too.
Well see in a week or two if it as good a deal as I think it is.
Thanks!

It looks like both doors are damaged. Traditional door with non structural damage to the outer panel are just reskinned and painted. I'd probably just have both doors fixed and turn it in to insurance.

The front door is damaged, but is much less damaged than the back. It seems reasonably fixable by the people who do paintless dent repair, or I can live with it. The back door is more damaged than it shows in the picture. It's a bit dished in. Never going to forget to turn the wheel before backing down again...

I am a bit redneck when it comes to things like that. If it is weather tight and the paint is not damaged enough that it is going to rust I would just run it. There is going to be more where that came from most likely. Not everyone's cup of tea I realize but it is an option.

It’s ruined. Yank the doors, get tube doors made. Ditch the bed and backhalf it. Long travel coilovers and triangulated 4-link.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

So new door is on. About 3 hours including swapping the door panel etc. Still needs paint, but a lot less work.
