Post by Jack187 » Tue Sep 22, 2015 6:51 pm

I'm still looking for one of the bypasses Myoung made in the last couple of years.

If you have serviceable one for sale, please PM me, I'll make you a good offer.

Thanks,

Just hoping someone who is selling their PW remembers this post and wants the extra cash.

What happened to the guy that took over for Morgan? I thought he was making these. I gather he disappeared?

If we can get some plans, I might know a guy that can take over. He's a retired electrical engineer and works part time for Turtleback Trailers designing and building their electrical systems. He might be willing to do this as a side project.

... Doesn't hurt to ask.

Can anyone get ahold of Morgan to get a parts list and plans?

I worked on helping him out when he asked some questions. I didn't do these bypasses due to not having a shop to work in. That has changed recently and will be able to start where I had left off once I'm done moving into the new facility. However, I won't say to not give it a try if you want to go forward with it, I didn't stop Morgan from building them when he wanted to. I will be moving forward with my version soon enough as well as other jobs I had to put on hold.

I started a thread in his vendor section. I might be presumptive, but it sounds like he is ready to at least gather information on how many people are wanting one. I suggest posting there since it will be easier to track long term.

I copied the list of the other three people that said they wanted one in this thread, and also posted a small notice to my prior thread in the general forum. Please continue this thread in the new one http://forum.powerwagonregistry.org/vie ... f=8&t=3454

thanks, Jack

I like the way you think kenadian. I Have a car audio guy that needs the schematics before he will attempt to rig me up something. Here's to hoping someone out there has them and is willing to share
