2011 Front locker plug in

Post by Dylan Robinson » Sat Dec 30, 2023 9:47 am

Hello,

I'm working on a friend's 2011 PW. His dogs chewed the wiring off the plug for the front locker, and I can't seem to find a proper diagram to put this back together. I have two yellow wires with a blue stripe, one yellow wire with a red stripe, and one yellow wire with a green stripe. I bought the pigtail from Dodge, I just need to know what wires go where on the plug in.

Thanks

Dylan Robinson

Scroll through this thread. The page below has a good discussion of the wiring.

Thanks, I think that first diagram is the one I need, but it's to blurry to read. I read through that thread too. I ended up hooking it up according to a different diagram all together, but I'm still not certain it's correct, as I couldn't get the locker light on the dash to quit blinking. Reasonably certain the front never did lock. Pretty sure the sway bar is working, and not certain about the rear locker. It indicated that it was locked, but sure didn't feel like it while driving. Additionally when I turned the dial to unlock, it stayed on.
I might monkey with it some more in the next few days. I appreciate the help.

Stellantis changed the website for connector repair info, all the old website links are dead which include http://connectors.dcctools.com

Here's the new website link: https://connectorrepairkit.mopar.com
Enter the year and model, click "Find Now", scroll down to "Solenoid-Locker-Front" and click on that link.

The picture is looking at the face of the connector.
Pin #1 is Yel/Org = 12V+ for the solenoid electromagnet.
Pin #2 is Yel/Dk Blu = Front locker sensor signal return back to the SmartBar.
Pin #3 is Yel/ Lt Blu = Front locker sensor supply. This is a 5V reference signal for the sensor, with the key on your multimeter will read 5V+.
Pin #4 is Yel/Lt Grn = 12V- for the solenoid electromagnet.

I hope this helps. Happy New Year! :patriot:
