Rusty lug nuts

Post by SimonandSimonBeast » Thu Feb 27, 2020 3:32 pm

Does anybody have a recommendation for aftermarket lug nut that resist rusting? I think every set of aftermarket lug nuts I've owned on various vehicles rusted to some extent within the first year I've owned them. Maybe I'm just buying the wrong ones. Any advice would be appreciated.

The quality isn't what it used to be. I have them on my Airstream (installed 2014), no rust.

I put them on the truck (2018), now rusting.

I'm sure they passed the cheaper component and plating cost along to you, right?

It's called "value engineering.". Problem is, the value doesn't go to the end user.
