Largest tire practically possible on a stock '12

Post by RideLong » Tue Oct 16, 2018 6:41 pm

Got a '12 PW that is stock in terms of suspension and wheels. Anyone know the largest tire I could put on it without any significant rubbing or other issues? I don't feel like doing any mods at this point to get tires to work. I appreciate any input. I searched for the answer but didn't find anything definitive. (I'm sure this question has been asked...)

Without any real changes, you can run 35’s with maybe some trimming of the plastic liner. You’d be best to swap wheels to a slightly wider offset if you want to go 37’s.

From that, it sounds like running 285-75-17 (~34") or 295-70-17 (~33.5" but obviously wider) sizes would be fine. Sound about right?
