3rd Gen Rear Brakes Help/Opinions

Post by MidnightPW » Wed Sep 10, 2014 8:38 pm

Anyone had good or bad experiences with replacing their rear brakes, pricing is all over the place.
Popular names like Bendix, Raybestos, Wagner etc...
Sometimes you get what you pay for, sometimes the cheaper may be as good or better, just wondering who might have had good/bad experiences after xxxxx miles
Thanks in advance

I replaced mine with EBC Yellowstuff pads. Great pad.

I agree with Russ. I replaced my brakes in Feb with EBC slotted and dimpled rotors, and EBC Yellowstuff pads----the truck brakes like a Ferrari now.

So you guys would recommend yellow stuff or green? What's the diff between the colors? Or is it marginal when installing on a big truck. I will be in need of new pads at least shortly!

I used; RockAuto.com. Bought the Powerstop drilled & slotted zinc coated rotors & z/36 pads. Love them. Stop way better than factory brakes. $480 to my door. Been on over a year, no rust.

I emailed with EBC a while back and they recommended the yellowstuff. Put them on, and could not be happier.
