Smart bar or sway bar

Has anybody on here had their smart bar come apart on them can they be taken apart completely and put back together or put back together once it come apart I'm going to try to attach picture so you see what I'm talking about it quit working so I wasn't using it and then it completely come apart anybody have an idea how to fix it without have to pay $1,200 for a new one please help mine's a 2013 Ram Power Wagon

I imagine if you open the case up you can install a new circlip onto the shaft, of the groove is still healthy.

Your's isn't the first one to come apart like that. The other 2 that I know of just pushed the end back in.

Thank you that helps I'll take it apart and clean it see if I can get it back together do you know if they make seals 4 cuz it looks like the seal is torn on it too where the bar goes in the part that came out of it that seal looks Torn To Me

See if you can get the numbers off the seals and match them up at NAPA. Since you are going to take it apart. Now is a good time to clean the factory gunk grease out and use good grease on the slider.

Exactly what Rusty said^^^ you can match seals easily

Make sure you get the most experienced sales person to help you with this. If you end up with a millennial sales child, he'll waist his time searching for an application that doesn't exist and tell you it's not available. :box: They'll have to use one of those old paper catalogs to look it up by size. Hopefully you'll actually get someone that knows how to use a dial caliper (analog or digital).
Once you find the correct seal number, be sure to share it with the rest of us.

Cool thank you yep I've got an uncle that works at Napa he can look it up for me im sure he'll find it when I find it I will post the Part number and hopefully more pictures to help other people out thanks for the help
