Kicker shock annoyance

Post by kgries » Tue Sep 25, 2018 2:23 am

So i installed my thuren springs and the sway bar today. I didn't have time to do the track bar unfortunately.

Anyway i took the axle bolt of the kicker shock to drop the axle a little more. Well...for the life of me i couldn't get that bolt back in. I couldn't get the right angle. do i need to take both wheels off, drop the axle, take the track bar off and sway bar links?

I couldn't get it with one wheel on/ links and track bar off. (i have a small jack and didn't feel like buying a new one lol)

right now i have the kicker shock zip tied out of the way lol

Put a ratchet strap around the shock so you can compress it to a convenient length. You can also raise/lower the axle to change how things line up.

I was thinking of ways to compress it.... didn’t even think of a ratchet strap Image I’ll try that
