And this is from the guy who said it's hard to justify a Power Wagon as a Daily Driver??

Sometimes it's impossible to justify other than a 'because I want to'.. ;)

I am with you 100%; some things don't need justification.

Yeah Vanished is coming back. You headed to Ohio soon? I'm departing station here for DC on 15Aug, so look me up

I'll always be lurking.. Some stuff popped up after our test drives that will delay a 2nd truck till next spring but it's still in the plans. I switched jobs so I probably won't be in Dayton anytime soon.. I also need to start my own thread entitled 'what will vanished buy next' instead of cluttering this one up any further! ;)

Saw a dark blue/black 3G heading the opposite direction as me this morning. Turned from northbound hwy 41 to westbound hwy 5 heading towards Victoria. Didn't get a chance to snap a pic. Desperate to find some PWs in the twin cities area that want to wheel!

On our way from Sandpoint, ID to Boise, ID today I stopped off at the Walmart in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and spotted this guy. Anyone here on the forum? I thought it was awesome seeing another Power Wagon with a Similar Light bar too.

Down at Maxwell AFB for a few weeks of training. There is a Laramie Power wagon in the SOC parking lot. Belong to anyone on here?

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

Saw a pretty looking red 3rd gen 4 door today, had an empty boat trailer having just dropped their boat in the water at the lake just between Charlotte and Uwharrie (Badin I think?) at the launch right where highway 49 opens back up to four lanes over the bridge.

I saw a sad, sad Power Wagon today. Coming through Hancock NY. It was blue but it just didn't look right. At first, I thought maybe it was a Poser Wagon, but no, it was a legit Power Wagon........................with 28" tires on factory rims !!! Yup, same size (height wise) as my 15" camper tires. He pulled into the gas station & so did I----(one thing all PW owners have in common-LOL). He looked at my truck & said "nice truck". I just said thanks & left it alone. Poor truck, it just looked sooooo sad.

Just did a week long trip to Yellowstone and didn't see a single PW anywhere!

It was nice getting a few heads turned when parking mine, lol.

yup, nice to get compliments. I kept looking at that blue PW in disbelief. It looked like it had pass car tires on the stock rims......which made it look like it had ultra low profile tires. Really weird. He kept looking at me, I think he was hoping i said "nice truck" to him too. No way could I do that, so I just left it alone.

Stopped in to do some shopping and look what was parked outside! (mine is on the left)

I waited a little bit for the owner to come out and chat, they never did :(

So, the other day I was in town doing errands & such & jamming out. (just had the stereo shop install my new factory wiring harness for rear d-side door. Had the stock one repaired 3x but the wires kept breaking. They did not even charge me---cool) I pulled up to an inner section & the light was red. The music was just in between songs & I hear "nice truck". I look over & see a truck just like mine, same color even. His had a lift & 37" tires on it & it looked awesome. Light turned green & I said "you too". Could not tell if his was a stick shift or not. Too quick of an encounter.

There's quite a lot of them around here. It seems like I see two or three any time I go anywhere. I took mine in for an oil change last week and ended up in line behind another one. Last time I took mine through the car wash I ended up in line behind another one too.

Another Prospector scooting around Louisburg, KS. Nice rig. Pretty new; zip tie was still on winch hook. I see a gold one around occasionally as well. I see other PWs around the kc metro, but only spot these bad boys down here.

I saw a spotless black Laramie 5th gen in berryville, AR last week. Don't see too many in my neck of the woods.

In Leavenworth, Washington. I was looking for a space to park for our hotel and found this guy parked one building over at a different one.
