Is Ford coming after the Power Wagon

Post by 04Ram2500Hemi » Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:10 pm

Interesting...

https://leftlanenews.com/ford/f-series- ... wer-wagon/

‘Everyone loves the Raptor. With the new Super Duty, we got another new version that no one's ever seen; not a Raptor, but something different,” promised Jim Farley, Ford's president of global markets, during the Global Auto Industry Conference.’

Agreed. I can't help but think how much better full-sized trucks became after the introduction of the Tundra.

Yep all of the guys bitching that there is no cummins in the power wagon would jump ship in a second. And the already ford fans would buy it too, because, well why the hell not!

Can't find this reported anywhere else with better actual credentials than this weirdo blog. If it's up on one of the major car mags I'll believe it. But until then, this is click bait.

I don’t disagree. The only reason I brought it up was originally seeing this on the Expedition Portal.

It is just fodder for the insecure Ford fan boys to jerk off over. Kind of like the articles about how Ram is going to 'destroy' the Raptor. Neither is going to happen, get over it.

The TRX excitement is all but dead. Ram pretty much pissed down their leg on this one. Throw $100,000 Trackhawks that aren’t selling into the mix, and I have a hard time seeing a decent Hellcat truck platform. And this comes from somebody with a Hellcat Challenger who was excited at the potential of the TRX a couple years ago.
