Yup, I thought about that. But it's been cold, windy, snowy and rainy here lately. No motivation to undo that right now anyways. It also has a 2/0 gauge lugged cable w/300 amp fuse, in addition to the factory cable, that goes from alt to battery. It's bolted to firewall and zip tied & all my light wiring is zip tied to it as well. If I get ambitious, I will let you know.

Not sure why pics turned out sideways. They are right side up on my phone.

They are straight on my wiiPod.

I think it would be cool if you did a build thread on your new truck. You’ve been a huge part of the Power Wagon Family, and I’d like to get your thoughts with the Colorado as time goes by.

Are you serious ? If so, I will. Will the moderators allow that ?

Those other forums are certainly a LOT more prim & proper. Seems many have drank the koolaid. No other brand BUT Chevy. That is difficult for me. I already dropped the WTF bomb & was cautioned about it !!! WTF !!! :wtf: LOL

So far, my biggest complaint, which was my WTF moment, is : It seems all the new trucks, regardless of brand, have tailgates that do not open all the way and are not level/even with the bed. There are fixes for the Fords & Dodges but not mine. Mine opens about 88* instead of 90*. When I remove the cables & put a level on the tailgate & hold it level, it is still about 1/8" higher than the tailgate !!! So, when cables are on & you lay something long in the bed, it touches just the very end of tailgate & does not touch the bed until the wheel wells ! :wtf: I mean REALLY, HTF does that happen ? Were 2 engineers just sitting around when 1 said " hey, I have an idea, lets take something that has worked fine for 100 years & totally fuck it up, for no reason in particular " ? Maybe they saved 1/2" of cable. Seriously, I can think of no logical reason for them to do that.

"ZR2 Fag" would be inappropriate and I would not like mods to change his screen name to it.

Speaking of identity, what if his new truck identifies as a powerwagon?

Then we all have to use the proper pronoun and pretend an apple is an orange.

Just call a spade a spade...

Now it's time to put our heads together as a group and pick a new "appropriate" screen name and get it assigned!

:poke: Come on guys, can't we all get along? I remember when I got my Diesel Ram every one was joshing me, now it's twinstick with a Chvey. Any truck that gets you where you want to go and back again is ok in my world. He can always put a winch in his truck and still be in the winch mob.
