2012 JK Sport with 49,000 miles. Has wheels off a 13 Rubicon. Always wanted a newer Wrangler to go with the 47 Willys. It is Orange Crush so you don't miss it.

Posting pics will depend on your forum reading application...

If you are using Windows,
In the Quick Reply, select Full Editor:
post_pic1.jpg
Scroll down and select the Attachments tab and click on Add files
post_pic2.jpg
Browse and upload the files you want to use in your post. As you are writing your post, scroll down and select Place inline to add the desired picture.
post_pic3.jpg
That is how I put this post together - I saved 3 screen shots as pictures - I started a reply, uploaded the 3 pictures and then inserted them inline.

Hope it works for you :D

I think it has a slight lift of 1.5 or 2 inches the way it sits with the Rubicon wheels and 245 tires. I'll probably eventually do a winch, but that will be it.

Well, except for maybe an air locker up front. I still need to see if it has a limited slip rear and I think it has 3:73 gears, but need to find that out as well........

I was all set to get new bumpers for the Powerwagon, that will have to wait a while now.......

That's a beauty! My wife keeps asking for one like that (Orange or Green)... but she will have to kill her Ford Expedition first

Vanished, do you still have your orange crush wagon?

All my vehicles are red / dark red... I'm always asked why I only have red vehicles...
My motorcycle's red, my boat's red, my dump trailer is red, but the John Deere is GREEN

Well, jacked the rear up and it's a one wheel wonder. I guess that's a good excuse for air lockers front and rear. Still don't know the gear ratio, no tag on the pumpkin.

Yeah looks like a small lift to me. Any coil spacers?

If its an open dif, jack one tire up and spin it 2 revolutions. However many times the driveshaft spins is your gearing.

Yeah, looks like spacers on the top of the springs, I think it is a leveling kit with 1" in the rear and 2" up front. I could fit 33's on it no no problem, but I really like how it looks now and will leave it that way.

Do you have to divide the number of driveshaft spins by 2 (for the tire revolutions) to get the gear ratio?

I have never heard of that before. It will either be 3:23 or 3:73 as that is all they did for the sport. I hope it's 3:73's.

So far, but I do admit I think about selling it every time I fill it up... I haven't been giving it a proper life - too much pavement and too few trails. Almost feel bad for it. I have become a poser. It makes me sad...

Sorry for the tangent OP.

No. If it has a locker or limited slip it is one spin, if it is open diff it will take two spins.

Thanks for the clarification. I actually was able to put my VIN in and get the build sheet at the Jeep website. It has 3:73 gears as an add on option. I am a happy camper, that is so awesome!! This Jeep is exactly what I wanted, it's perfect. Glad I've been waiting to find the right one.

FYI, they had the brake-lock traction control system, and while it's certainly not a locker, you'd be surprised what it'll do stock with that system alone.

Put it in 4lo, and get a wheel up and spinning, and the computer applies brake force to just that spinning wheel, the diff routes power to the other tire, and you're moving. It takes a few seconds, and some extra throttle to really work, but it does in fact work.

I was not aware of the BLD and just read up on it, very cool! Thanks for the information, I really appreciate it. I'm thinking for now I'm going to do a Limited Slip rear and leave the front alone. Do a winch and aftermarket bumper and that will be it. I really want new bumpers for the Powerwagon, so less will have to go towards the Jeep.
