Probably nothing. I'm tired of wrenching on the truck for a while.

Maybe get a set of those rubber nuts hanging by the reese hitch. Pretty quick and easy to install. Got those yet?

Truck parts. Congress won't be trying to make owning a truck a felony next month.

With how much of a setup the Vegas shooting looks like, I vote for the gun & ammo side of things.

Yeah the Las Vegas Shooting is leaving a lot of questions here, the theory's area all over the place. They have already started the Gun Control rhetoric just hours after the shooting. I vote pew pew parts as well.

There won't be any new gun bans. This thread isn't about panic buying.

Didn't figure it was. Guns are fun but I like investing in things I benefit from more regularly. My business or truck usually take the helm there.

It's just a years worth of small pistol practice ammo. Nothing to write home about, three jugs and a small box.

I'm more concerned with the hearing protection act passing so I can get a suppressor for my recently acquired Kimber adirondack 308. I didn't want to waste $200 on a tax stamp and a six month wait if it was going to pass. The democrats are all over it now. They're too dumb to realize without subsonic ammo a suppressor report is nearly as loud. I swear all their firearm knowledge comes from watching action movies.

Just read that the GOP is not going to do anything with that bill now. They are putting some distance between them and anything to do with guns for now. They tabled everything.

Have you noticed how much attention HPA/SHARE has gotten from Dems this week? Wonder why? I'd wager it's because it has enough support to pass. SHARE was shelved after the last shooting too. It isn't getting cancelled, just taken off the calendar. Give it some time and I bet it will be back. The NRA got the current administration elected, the Republicans own them a win. Since national reciprocity is DOA, SHARE will be going through. It's a lot more than silencers...it's not over.

I'm waiting on an SBR and can too.

Need help from you guys making a decision

Post by Rodeoflyer » Wed Oct 04, 2017 10:59 am

From this morning news:

Several Democrats used the massacre to push for new restrictions, and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) asserted Tuesday that Republican leaders have no plans to advance a bill, which passed a House committee last month, that would make it easier to buy gun silencers.

It wouldn't make it EASIER, it would make it LESS EXPENSIVE for SPORTSMEN WHO NEED HEARING PROTECTION. That's why it's called the hearing protection act. These people are so stupid. I'm done. I'll just pay my tax stamp and start waiting on it.

The Vegas shooter purchased 33 long guns in 12 months and they're worried about people wanting to protect their hearing.

It's not. Turns out N320 sucks and I should have bought eight pounds of E3 instead. The stuff meters well enough but it's just as dirty as the W231 I found in the back of my cabinet and the pressure node is around 190PF with 180gr coated lead. I'm going to shoot it all but an 18 SD is just offensive. I'm only 3k rounds into the 8lbs.
