Can't sell new turd gens to dealers. Which I'd bet is probably the core of their Ram business. Dealers buy inventory. That means AEV is paid.
I see auto correct is gibing you truble.

Aev only gets it market share in the new models because that's the only way people afford them. Through the dealer financing. Don't pretend you finance a 70k truck then drop 40k cash to 'AEV' it. No they finance the whole thing for and extra 650 per month. What's another $650 on top of that $1200-1300 payment her. Oils good and your clearing 4k every 2 weeks. That's their market. Not normal sane people with regular jobs.

Now if I really wanted an ultimate truck I'd maybe get an 11-12 for 20k and then send it to thuren with 30k cash and say make me something. Less money spent and a way better investment for an ultimate truck. For half the cost. And might even get an AEV hood in that too haha

 It's the appearance business. Factory handling is marketing spiel. I think the 1500 Recruit here, which is really "lets stick our stuff on a half ton, I bet we'll sell ever more" is all the proof of "poser" market.

All the cheby dealers around here are selling Rocky Ridge built trucks. AEV wants the same market. Built trucks sold through the dealer. Better profits and the dealer can finance them. With the Jeeps years 2007 to 2017. It has hardly changed that much. Most parts will fit all years of the JK. That's generation of it.

Yup. That's the best business plan if ya think about. We gripe because we want to buy parts. But selling inventory to dealers is $$$$ big money.

Really ? And exactly how does that work ? A snorkel is a snorkel, a lift is a lift. I wish 3rd Gen parts were that cheap, but they all cost money. There are far more 3rd Gens still on the road around here than there are 2017's. I see tons of 3rd Gens around by me but hardly any 4th or 5th Gens. I figure they are operating on the assumption that people trade them in every 2 yrs. Maybe by them but certainly not around here.
3rd gen trucks are no longer made nor are they floored on dealership lots. Used trucks and enthusiasts are not AEV's primary Ram truck demographic. Dealership business is the priority hence why none of the AEV parts void the manufacturer's warranty. Further, dealers rarely kit out a floored truck, they might have one on display in the parts area but not ten for sale on the lot. The reason is the rolling stock is floored and aftermarket installed parts are generally a net loss. A complete AEV truck on the other hand is a complete unit that can be floored with stock and has the full manufacturer's warranty.

I read that a few days ago. I laughed the whole way through. I have no clue what they company was thinking when they designed that kit. Why would you go through that massive of an undertaking to make a lot that offers probably less performance than stock and charge more money than the HD series trucks to do so? What a joke. New cast control arms? Custom CV joints? Moved the entire factory suspension? I feel out of love of ExPo from all these ads. They're paid off. They can't just say "this is a joke" any more - they're paid to say otherwise. I see why Jonathon Hanson ditched them.

That's a long way to go to admit AEV designed a steering knuckle that won't fit 17" wheels. Good job...I guess?
