I like the HD hood and front clip conversion. I don't know if the IFS makes for a good platform at all for this kind of application though.

That was my thought. Smaller tires and bigger wheels (in comparison to the Prospector)... yet the package probably weighs more yet performs worse in most off road conditions. I dont get that.

This is 100% a money play. And kind of pathetic. No ingenuity here. Nothing unique or special. Would have been cool if they started with a Rebel, and built a kit around it.

Cast aluminum tow points!? Seriously? They might as well smash them with a hammer before install. I have zero faith in aluminum castings in a critical load application like that. Even our nice forged aluminum carabiners are very susceptible to hairline fractures from being dropped on the ground (from heights, or repeatedly). Let's hook a 10,000lb tow line to the tow points that experience brittle-fracture with little elongation prior to their ultimate strength... sketchy!

2008 Red QC PW G56. No lift yet, stock size tires. It pulls a 2016 Starcraft AR One Extreme, 3500 lbs.
Load Pro 35 helper springs. 2015 A.R.E. MX Series custom cap. PCP front diff cover protector. Mag-Hytec 6 qt rear diff cover. K&N replacement air filter only. Dual grounded throttle body. Winch TPC bypass. Fab Four rear bumper. DURA BAK lined rocker protection. And a bunch of new front end stuff.

Dang Pit, I've never heard of their jeep kits sucking. That's interesting.

And to think there's a Rancho lift kit that's been under my jeep since the 70's, and the frame was made in 1952... Shoulda bought Rancho! lol

You can get the "appearance" package for half the cost and spend half the money on a real suspension kit, like from Thuren.

Really ? And exactly how does that work ? A snorkel is a snorkel, a lift is a lift. I wish 3rd Gen parts were that cheap, but they all cost money. There are far more 3rd Gens still on the road around here than there are 2017's. I see tons of 3rd Gens around by me but hardly any 4th or 5th Gens. I figure they are operating on the assumption that people trade them in every 2 yrs. Maybe by them but certainly not around here.

Doesn't fit their model with Ram's currently or what I perceive to be their target customers. Notice that the Prospector was sold to dealers first, looks like that's the avenue they're going with the Recruit, selling whole trucks. Followed by selling the individual parts.

Can't sell new turd gens to dealers. Which I'd bet is probably the core of their Ram business. Dealers buy inventory. That means AEV is paid.

But just a guess out my ass. I think your logic would follow if AEV wasn't doing things like selling beta pro-cals that both are and aren't available.

Was just thinking, their Jeep line is JK parts only right now, that's 2007-2017. If you consider that our body style is 2009, it would fit with the current model only motif.
