Why so many Double posts?

Post by Bill2014 » Sat Mar 04, 2017 1:23 pm

Seems like it is getting worse.
 Why do some people have so many double posts? It's a waste of forum resources. If someone does double post, why aren't they going back and cleaning it up?

I keep getting them from Tapatalk. I have been editing posts to ask for deletion. And also tagging my posts for the admins to delete. I tried to erase the posts but I can not work it out on the app.

Yes - Tapatalk always shoots an error on certain types of devices, but goes ahead and posts. Users see the error and assume it didn't post - and then they repost. I only use Tapatalk when I need to include pictures.

If only the site web interface would support posting pictures! Any site admins interested in adding a working picture upload support to the web interface? :poke:

X2...loading pics direct from your device photo repository in their native resolution would be fantastic. Using a 3rd party clearinghouse or, like me, I email myself pics from my photo album at a lower resolution, open my mail, select the msg w/ the pics I want to load, save those pics back to my photo album, then upload those to this site. A huge PIA, hence why I don't post a ton of pics.

I use the website interface only...and don't have any real issues. I upload pictures direct from my iPhone to the site as attachments. You just have to go into edit mode on the picture you want to add and just crop it slightly to resize it and then it's reduced in size for the data limits on the site.

If only the freaking posts resized the images automatically, instead of posting them fullsize. Even on desktop 90% of photos posted are cut off.
