Trip out west

Post by RustyPW » Tue Jul 26, 2016 9:53 pm

Leaving Friday for Denver. Should be there on Sunday. I'll be in Denver for about a week. Then to Farmington NM. for about 5 days. Then to San Antonio Tx. for a couple of days. Then to Humble Tx. for a couple of days. Then to Clarksville Tenn. for a couple of days. I'll be with the motorhome pulling a Jeep Grand Cherokee. So if anyone wants to meet up. Please let me know.

About the same MPG as a PW, but with all the comforts of home.
How are fuel prices across this great nation? $2.57 - $2.85 for diesel where I live in California.
Enjoy your time with friends and family! :patriot:

San Antonio is nice if you do the Riverwalk. We did the boat tour and walked the walk. Lot of shops, bars and places to eat. But try not to drive in that city. It's nuts. We took the bus from the campground and back. Lot easier. In Huston now. Meeting up with old friends. Hate driving around the cities in Texas. Their on and off ramps on the highways by their cities will make you crazy. Over 3,000 miles. Avg fuel is 7.9 in the motorhome. The Jeep is getting GREAT mileage. Only filled it up twice in 3,000 miles.
