Whew !!!

Post by TwinStick » Sun Jul 17, 2016 1:44 pm

Glad this is all done. Hope I don't have to work on vehicles for a long while now. In the last month or so I have done front brakes & rotors on my daughters Subaru crosstrek, my sons corolla, my wifes corolla. Changed spark plugs in my truck, the sons corolla & the wifes corolla, put a new starter on my wifes corolla.

Corolla plugs were supposed to be at .044, old ones i took out were at .048. Same with the trucks. The only difference......sons corolla had 100,000 miles on them, wifes car had 136,000 miles on them The truck---41,000 !!! :jawdrop:

It's a tough job but someone hast to do it. Better to do it yourself cause most commercial places take too many short cuts.

Just think on how much money you saved by doing it yourself.

All true words spoken here. Fingers & knuckles are doing fine. Love those thick rubber gloves at HF http://www.harborfreight.com/9-mil-nitr ... 68512.html . Only trouble is, in this heat your hands turn into prunes in short order. Never experienced hand sweat on this level before. Literally runs down your arms when working overhead.
