Hello All,

After we had a local preventable death in a 4x4 accident, I inquired with Glen Stilson of Independence Training about doing a WFA course. The Jeep and it's occupants rolled off an embankment, and the driver died of blood loss - a simple tourniquet properly applied would have saved his life. This class will prepare you to do First Aid beyond the traditional Golden Hour, and that's what we need in the back country.

Cost is $249.00 per person for the 2 day class. One of the instructors is Adal Lopez. Adal is a 16 year veteran Green Beret Combat Medic, and since then has been doing Air Ambulance EMT/Station Chief duties in some of the roughest country in the US: Northern AZ's Navajo Nation. We will get the best possible education, have no doubt of that!

Dang it, wish I was going to be closer to Phoenix but I think I'll be stuck in Henderson another week. This would really benefit us.
