totally off topic lol. my side project is my 79 c-10 short bed (Manual). it is a two wheel drive and i want to make it into a four wheel drive. i have a donar c-10 78 short bed (Automatic) 4x4 that a guy wants to sell me for 800 bucks. my question will this it work for any 73-79 gm truck. the guy does not know if its a 78 or 74. im deployed right now and all i have is a phone number he didnt leave an email.
what i want to do is transfer my cab, bed, engine, and still keep the manual transmission; onto the 4x4 chassis. i have asked the guys on 67-72 chevy forum with no response, i guess im not cool enough for them
. i think its doable i just need to put in the cab hump from the donar truck into my 79. but, im not too sure about cab bushings and mounts between a 2wd and a 4wd for those years?any help would be appriciated cant pass up the 800 dollar offer. thanks!!!
