Everything I do is addictive so I expect this will be too. I can keep my modding in check as I will play with this one for awhile till I find the next build, then all the mod's I would do to this truck will go to funding the next build. I really should sell a couple of my truck as having 6 on the road is getting a little excessive, even for me!!

Hope to get a vid this weekend of the truck on level 5 so I can get a reference to how the truck is acting, as everything happens too quick (I can't watch my boost/egt/speedo/rpms and where I'm going all at the same time) to see how the truck is really reacting. I think I'm blowing thru the converter but not 100% sure.

Little update on the truck.
I've done a few more upgrades to the truck.
It is now sporting 7x 0.010" (+150 hp) injectors, an ATS triple disk torque convertor, and I went full redneck and put in stacks. Stacks are a requirement of the some of the events I pull in, and I always wanted to see what a pickup was like with them. I've had them a little over a year now, and do sound really nice, but they are pretty loud with the windows down.

A few weeks ago I was in my local fairs pull, and finally had someone there that would video me. This is the pull from Friday night that it didn't do so well as the track dried out and got hard, and I don't have enough horsepower to get the tires spinning fast enough when I locked the torque convertor in 3rd. The Thursday night when I pulled, the truck was running awesome and the track was perfect for me, and I won my class. Wish I had vid of that cause the truck looked sweet on those pulls.

Many thousands of dollars spent to win a $20 trophy, lol.

Thanks guys. This is one of my more fun trucks to drive mostly because once the turbo lights, the torque is just brutal. I love the feeling of the 900ft-lbs shoving you in the seat. I would love to upgrade the turbo or goto twins, but I certainly don't need it for what I do. I'll upgrade eventually as I'm pushing over 40psi now with the stock HX35, so I know I'm pushing it way outside it's map and one of these times its going to overspeed and go boom. Plus she gets pretty toasty on the EGT's (over 1600°) on a long hard WOT pull.

Rusty; it certainly can, but luckily my setup doesn't smoke unless you are trying to.

Sort of, I did paint the lower section that was grey purple :D. Once I painted the lower section I decided that the body was good enough to leave it for now till I decide what direction to take the truck. I thought the body was worse than it really is and needed paint, but the white isn't too bad and is growing on me.

Plan is to still do the body, just don't know when I will........
