I hate to bring this up but potentially you may have either a out of round rim wether bent or twisted or something else is really off. I've only once ever had 1 tire so bad that they had to replace it. So either the tire shop your dealing with has no idea how to balance a tire or something else had damage. I would ask them to spin balance the bare rims. When they install the tire and spin balance it may be fine static but when it's on the truck its chaos. Shocks being toast can give u a annoying bounce/wobble but I would focus on rotating mass first. Tires rims hubs then shocks. Shocks being bad would create really weird tire cupping fairly quickly. In 5-7k miles. Tire pressure does not affect balance of the tires unless you are running so low the sidewall is squished. So between 40-60psi the tires should be balanced.Fred wrote:OK. 12 Tires have been in play on this 2012 PW. BFG TA KO2 35x12.5r17
Unfortunately the wheel hop continues. I admit that this third set is a little better, but no cigar.
Michelin will not offer refund. Only new tires. They actually suggested I try selling the tires and wheels on Ebay. Of course if that happens I'm definitely going to get a different brand. Anyone want a set of tires and Rims? Seriously tho ...Is there a way to check my shocks? Before I drive home tonight I'm going to 45 PSI in all 4 just to see what happens.

Re: Tires
We just had a brand new tire on the Corrola from w-mart feel funny, i took it off & looked at it. On the inside sidewall, there were 3 bubbles the size of an egg. I called my wife out to see. She looked & said what the hell. Then one started to get bigger & bigger. I told her to stand back. Just as she did, the tire went BOOM. Blew the sidewall out. A 3" gash right through the belts & all. They ordered a new one. No charge. Less than 100 miles on the tire. I did not hit anything with it. Faulty tire.
Re: Tires
OK. After these many months. Michelin offered a partial refund. I ended up getting General Grabbers AT/2 with 60k tread life warranty. 35x12.5R17
Excellent ride on these. Both off and on road. No one at the tire stores can find any issues with my 2012 OW suspension/shocks etc. What convinced Michelin was I found a new 2016 Cummins 2500 RAM. my work bud had bought. We had the tire store swap out all four. He road terrible then and mine road like a caddy. Go figure. Anyway I'll stay away from the TA radials by BFG ...
