Yes I do but only if a great deal comes along this summer.
I am planning on building a long arm for the front this winter and I am going to move the front axle forward. I'd like to fit a 43" SX2 under the truck.

Those flares look huge!!!! Were they made for the truck or are you doing a custom job?

I have not been able to find a flare made for the 3rd gen Dodges. These are bushwhacker cut out flares for a Ford Super Duty.2011TXPowerWagon wrote:Those flares look huge!!!! Were they made for the truck or are you doing a custom job?
They are huge and have opened the wheel wells a lot and will provide a bunch of tire coverage. I really like them. There's a lot of time fitting them but it's worth it.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
How far forward you planning on moving the axle? Couple of things to move would be easy, the others not. The hardest I think would be the steering box, spring buckets, and shock mounts.Wilsonsinak wrote:RustyPW wrote:Welcome. With those flairs. Look like you have enough room for 40's. I was looking at these. Was wondering about the axles under them. And if you can put/get lockers for them. Here's the video that got me interested in them.KSUperDuty wrote:I guess the M1079 is a PW of sorts, and yes, I do plan on building an expo trailer out of the M1101.

That same video got me thinking of getting one too lol. Be careful with the military vehicles, they're an even more insidious addiction than power wagons!

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread
The LMTV has been good to me. No nightmare stories. I bought it off Gov Planet at Ft Hood, and shipped it to my folks place in Central Ks. I changed all the filters and fluids in the axles, hubs, engine, transmission, etc, and then I drove it 500 miles the rest of the way home. I did put tires on it and I replaced the air dryer, but that's it. It's a ton of fun to drive, and I'm building the box out as a camper. Lockers are available, but I haven't done that yet. If this thing gets stuck enough, or there's an obstacle I have to go over that requires lockers lockers, I think I'll have bigger problems. Consider me addicted....
