who has replaced the PCM and tuned with DIablo?

looking for any support or information as the 6.4 would be a beast to tune out the factory reliability formula.

anyone with a 2018 thinking or has already installed a PCM and TUNE?

dying for transmission tunes, and would love to unleash the beast.

I replaced my PCM on my 2016 2500. Used the Trinity T 1000. Ran the standard tune for awhile. It was 87 Octane tune. Noticeable difference. Bought a Custom Tune from HemiFever. Big difference and Shift points were a bit better also. Had the MDS Blocked which was very nice . I ran his 87 + Octane Tune. Just recently traded in my Truck for the 2500 Cummins.

Love my new. Hemifever tune. Can't remember what it was like before as I bought it and yad it turned in a week or 2. Totally worth the drivability gains though

Diablosport just recently announced that their unlocked ECM's now also work for the '17 and '18 6.4L's. So Hemifever should now also be able to offer his tunes for the newer years with or without the diablosport tuner packages. At least that's what he stated in an email a while back when I asked.

As I'm across the pond, I'm kinda waiting for others to take the dive first and confirm.

Has anyone noticed less/complete reduction in part throttle surging after installation? I've ruled out the standard culprits and am wondering if my part throttle surging is due to the free-er flowing exhaust i've had on the truck.

My truck still has it at 25k miles. Pretty much always has. I still have factory exhaust, and have not done anything to try to remedy it yet. Sure pisses me off tho!!!

I couldn’t remember if my truck did it with stock exhaust or not. Prob did I just don’t remember.

any surging or funky driving characteristics i blame on the transmission.

any transmission tuning available, im going for it.

im entirely confident this 6.4 hemi has the bottom end to handle, and capacity to crank out substantially more power then you would on any typical naturally aspirated setup.

i mean, throttle maps and shift tuning alone can produce great enhancements.

The surging I speak of i'm fairly sure is do to lean condition at part throttle where load isn't significant enough to cause audible detonation. It definitely doesn't feel like transmission surging. "Surging" has been used to describe many many issues though including things which very well could be trans related.

93 octane tune is what ill be running
with pedal commander
S and B intake
freer flowing exhaust...

should really wake up, but my goal is to remedy the transmission logic.

i have enough power, just drives like shit due to shifting too soon, and lugging all the time.

Agree 100%! Shifts too soon and takes too much effort to downshift.
