Put me in for one as well. For a 2016.
The best mod to make for the PW, had one of Cajun's kits on my 13. Lockers working like they should is awesome.

Previously I said that a disable toggle switch would be mounted on the control box, but that seems pretty inconvenient in a society that caters to convenience. So I'll be offering some options as I build each unit, depending on if you want:
  • A standard unit with no disable switch
  • A generic toggle switch and harness that you can mount in the location of your choice
  • A prewired harness that you can connect to an existing rocker switch panel
  • A prewired harness to connect to a SwitchPros or sPOD module.
This is what the generic toggle switch option looks like.
Disable Switch & Harness - 1.jpg
5' of extra harness with a loop of wire.
Disable Switch & Harness - 2.jpg
Route it to the location of your choice and cut the wire to length.
Disable Switch & Harness - 3.jpg
Strip and crimp the terminals.
Disable Switch & Harness - 4.jpg
Connect to the switch.
The other configurations would be similar.

So if you're on the waiting list, be thinking about what options you're going to want for your custom locker bypass. (No change in price for any of these configurations)

Does the switch disable the dash knob entirely, or just the “bypassiness”?

The green “Axle Unlock” indicator will still be illuminated on the factory knob panel, but turning the knob will have no affect. There will be no flashing lights and the swaybar disconnect will still function according to factory parameters.

Man, already getting tired of the hassles on my 2018. What a bad design. The rear seems to rarely be an issue, but its like pulling teeth for the front now. And when I need to idle up a steep, icy hill to do a recovery I can't drive 2 miles to get it engaged.

Yep, not having much control of the lockers is almost worse than not even having lockers at all.

That's great Jake! As far as I know, you're the first to install and test one of these.
A couple quick questions:
  • How long did it take you to install?
  • Did it work out of the box, or did you have to adjust the relays?

I'm a slacker. I got a shit ton of projects, particularly wiring, stacked in a closet. First is bumper and fog light install. Then probably the locker bypass... then switch panel and nanny bypass, lol.

i didnt get a chance to install it all at one time but im going to say maybe 2 and a half hours it wasnt long at all and that was with pulling my s&b airbox. but it was defintly helpfull having a lift but not needed. as far as the relays i didnt have to adjust them they locked up as soon as i turned the dial

For those of you that are still waiting to install your locker bypass, it would probably be best to mount the control box last, so if the relays need to be adjusted, you don't have to go through the hassle of dismounting and remounting the control box.

I test and adjust each unit before it ships out, but sooner or later someone is going to have to make an adjustment. I just want the install to be as hassle-free as possible so it doesn't waist your time. I'll be making a note about this in the future installation instructions.
