5.7L Hemi vs 6.4L Hemi Dyno Results

Post by 04Ram2500Hemi » Fri Jan 10, 2020 10:32 am

So I know that Dodge/Ram claims that the 5.7L is rated at 380hp and 400 lb-ft of torque while the 6.4L Hemi is rated at 410hp and 429 lb-ft of torque. My question is this- does anybody know what both engines dyno at? I did some google searching, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

several years ago - i hunted down both charts - not sure where I stashed them. I think the mustang results were 75%-80% less than rated crank peak hp for both. At the time, I was trying to figure out if the new 6.4 would be worth it for me over the 5.7 in my '13 for the towing that i do. I focused more on the torque values between 2k and 4k rpm. then placed my order for my '14 PW.

Check the tuner sites - that's where I found the charts...

I don't know why this guy is going 6th gear pulls, but whatever:

4:13 mark to fast foward to the numbers, and that's a 2019 to boot!! That's really piss poor. 80% is the worst drive train loss I've ever seen in my life.

I couldn't stand it from the beginning hearing those guys talk. They are total idiots. Yeah, and I couldn't tell what the hell the Dyno shop was doing.
