Hello from PA.

Post by VMAX » Wed Dec 18, 2019 12:07 pm

I picked up my first ever PW this past June from a privet owner out of Florida. I always loved theses trucks & made it a priority that my next truck would be a power wagon. It's 2012 SLT with 4.56 gears, 50.000 miles no rust and a very clean carfax.
I added a 4" BDS long arm suspension lift kit, Fox shocks, 35" Falken Wildpeak AT3's & MBRP stainless exhaust.
So far I love it! and it has not disappointed me. I towed my Jeep to six different states, did some light wheeling with it, and numerous loads of fire wood. It handled everything real well.
Next on the to do list is fix the winch (hasn't work since I bought the truck), locker bypass & possibly installing manual hubs.
I like this forum and hope to gain some good information from it. I will post a few pics soon.

Welcome to the forum.

What part of the state you in?

I'm in the south west corner of the state. On the Mon river. Firerescue and Ace are from around the Philly ( city of brothers on drugs ) area.

We have a yearly get together at Rausch Creek every June. This is our 10th yr there. You're welcome to come. Here's the link to it.

I live in Beaver county between Raccoon Creek state park & PGH Airport. I also own land in Greene County near the Mon river.
I have a bunch of jeep trails cut thru it but I'm open to wheeling Power Wagons on it also.
I love Rausch creek & have wheeled my jeep there a few times. Unfortunately I have a prior commitment on June 13th.
I'm looking forward to meeting & wheeling with new people on this forum. Thanks for the invite!

Welcome to the forum! Whenever you get around to ordering the locker bypass, be sure to remind me that you need a little extra length on your axle harnesses to accommodate your lift kit.
