It's going to be a little more than the 4th gens simply because of the Hong Kong sourced plug. Won't be too terribly much but I won't have an exact price until I am able to physically order the parts. Ballpark will be around $265 I think. I've got one supplier that said they have them in stock and had a decent price, but now they won't return emails. I really hate not being able to pick up the phone, give my credit card number, and get shit coming!

I did the old bypass on my truck and wasn't really impressed. It didn't get rid of the root problem, which is the smartbar computer.

Also note that my kit is still going to require a semi working smartbar to operate. We're tapping into wires between the smartbar and dash switch that need to remain in tact. Whether or not your lockers actually lock in stock form should be irrelevant.

I may have to fly to Hong Kong and kick some ass! The people are really pissing me off...

UPDATE: I FINALLY have my final quote from the Hong Kong supplier for the 3rd gen parts, now I just have to wait for them to send the invoice then they will ship out. Due to the additional cost of these connectors, the price will increase to $260 for the 3rd gens. I hope this isn't a problem for anyone. I most definitely appreciate everyone's interest in these kits!

Any updates on the kit?

No updates to speak of. I'm starting to get really pissed off though. My Hong Kong supplier is now ignoring me all together. Not sure what to do at this point, never thought it would be so hard to give someone money and have them ship parts. Might have to go another route.

Once the Christmas craziness is over, I'll decide what route I'm going to take...
