we had previously thought about a splice in version, but from what i gather it would have to be a unanimous decision among all 3rd gen guys. There wouldn't be any reason for ordering or looking for connectors for a handful of people especially if the minimum order is over 100.

I need to fix my front locker, the locker actuator alone retails for $434, plus the labor for removing/reinstalling the front differential, which required a special dealer tool, I bet it's a $800 job.

Make me one, splice or no splice , and I will buy it. Why not just order them as needed from the factory at https://connectorrepairkit.mopar.com , it cost a lot more, but add it to the overall cost and be done with it. That gets my vote.

I am pretty sure the issue with getting them from the factory is that they are not available from the factory. ... I may be mistaken though...

Reading through these posts it appears myoung84 turned the locker bypass project over to CajunPW, but he is only running a list for 4Gs. Does anyone know if the 3G project was completed and if so, where do I go to purchase/get on a list? Thanks

I have not been around much lately, but from what I understand the 3 Gen project has not gone anywhere

That is what I was afraid of. Reading through the posts, it sounds like myoung84 believed he had everything figured out out, but was finding it difficult to obtain a connector he needed to make the kit "plug and play". Lacking the connector it could be accomplished with some splicing. If that is correct and no kits are going to made, I would be interested in purchasing the schematic (assuming there is one) to try it my self. I need to get everything working and would prefer to use the original controls if possible, but it is beyond my electrical skills to figure out myself.

I was supposed to be the test truck for this kit. But unfortunately I could not contact myoung. I tried to contact him when I got back in country but no luck. I will be back in the states on November 4th so I will try again at that time.
