Our 5th gen (or 4.5 gen) long arms are a great upgrade for any Power Wagon, stock or lifted. The arms will convert you to a real 4 link suspension, give you more ground clearance, a lot more strength (you can slide your truck on these arms without any issues), the adjustability to get your caster dialed in and remove any coil spring bowing you have, and the suspension can more more freely because of the proper suspension geometry and the misalignment in the Currie Johnny Joints. This is a 100% bolt-in installation, you only need to drill 5 holes in your frame for the new upper arm mount. The mount is self-indexing, it has a key built in to the back side that aligns it perfectly on your frame. The bracket is 1/4" HRPO and MIG welded, then powdercoated in a semi gloss black finish. Using the 9/16" Grade 8 hardware we provide, you just bolt the bracket to the frame, remove your factory radius arm, install the upper arm and then install your lower arm into the factory mount using the factory hardware. You will be able to reuse your cam bolt as well, for easier minor caster changes. Rinse and repeat for the other side.

These arms do clear the body mount on a totally stock suspension, and they have more tire clearance than the factory arms do. The arms themselves are made from 2" OD x .250" wall 1026 DOM, and we use the 1.25" shank joints which are a forged housing. The joints are greaseable and rebuildable, but honestly it's easier to just buy a new joint if the time comes, otherwise you need a special press from Currie that's about $100, or you have to make something to do it. For those that don't know, Johnny Joints are not a heim joint nor a bushing, they are both, in a way. You have a spherical ball in the middle of the joint, surrounded by a thick polyurethane bushing, which is all encapsulated in the forged housing. So you have the misalignment and strength of a rod end, but with the vibration reduction of a bushing. We use them on a bunch of our products and they are great.

We've been making these long arms for at least a year and a half now, and have made a couple of improvements in the arm bend profile and clevis mounts recently. I'll have to come back and edit those photos in because they are only on my phone at the moment, but I did just post them on our Instagram page if you want to take a peek: http://www.instagram.com/dodgeoffroad1

This pic is from the website and is a pretty good view of everything:

If you have any questions about this product, feel free to ask. We did discuss in another thread that the White Knuckle sliders won't work with these long arms, as their mount goes in the same oval-shaped hole in the frame as our upper arm bracket indexes to. If that slider mount was moved back 8", it would work flawlessly. It should be easy to cut, re-weld, and drill a hole to make that happen for anybody who has to have both.

For those who don't like cam bolts, we have the nicest cam bolt deletes you've ever seen. They are machined from 303 stainless and they are machined properly - the oval section is offset so that the washer will actually fit in the cam bolt bracket, not hang down below it. It is a much cleaner look and the stainless gives you a little axle bling.
