So let’s see:
New neck filler for the gas tank:$600
New set of Cooper Discoverer AT3’s in a 285/75/17: $950
New Upper and Lower Ball Joints plus axel joints: $1,200 - $1,400 (still waiting on dealer quote, this was from local tire shop)

It’s a damn good thing I love my truck!

I know what you mean. I'm looking at 4 tires before the snow flies. Need shocks. King 3" would be nice. Might just get the 2.5's.

A deer just committed suicide into the side of my new 19. 4K miles. Looks like I'll be trading for a 20 after they fix it.

we are all crying with you waldo....sorry broha. i know your hurting more then your truck

i remember this story 3 times from the 8 years i lived in northern New Jersey.
on 3 occasions, we had deers Tbone us.

Louder exhaust with more rumble will keep the deers away! 37s and white knuckle sliders may have made this into a minor bedside dent, but i cant believe the bedside and the cab/Rear door was taken out!

that guy Kamikazied your 19 because your still running duratracs..

Well............................speaking of the furry bastards. I have hit 6 so far with my PW. 3 with the OEM bumper, and 3 with the Aluminess bumper. My 99 Ram has 3 hits, and my 90 HardBody has 2 hits with deer, 1 dog hit, and one turkey, plus one cow with a motorcycle. Living in SW Pa close to the mountains. I have lots of woods and farm land around me. The bastards are everywhere along with turkey and bear. The turkey hits are almost as common as the deer hits now. The bear hits are not uncommon now. The hits are going to increase this time of year. It's rut season soon.

Fuel filler is easy to do yourself. Axle joints are FUN to do yourself. How often do you get to fix something with a mini sledge?

Tires I’ve seen people think they can fix themselves with a tire siper LOL

The dealer wanted $1,800 for Upper/Lower Ball Joints and Axel Joints. I declined their offer.

Rent a press, they're not that hard to do. For that kind of money you could just buy a decent one and still have money in your pocket. Plus you can check the unit bearings while you have it apart.

So the Fender Flares on the 19's have bolt/clip holes?

Seems a stupid idea as it's a spot to rust...

EMF Ball Joints are a good option.

So apparently my ball joints were worse than I thought. I drove home last night after getting the truck fixed, and it felt like a new truck. I couldn't believe how tight the steering was. At first I thought they screwed up my truck- LOL!
