PW vs Raptor Video

Post by Ducky's Dad » Thu May 09, 2019 1:29 pm

From Edmunds, sponsored link on FordAuthority.com. Still interesting, though. These guys say to new PW will lock both diffs in 4W-Hi. Is that correct?

The review/comparison is fair. Too bad the boob doesn’t know how the lockers actually work.

These raptor vs power wagon comparison videos rarely ever drive down any trails that have realistic rock-crawling, something that shows the true benefits of front and rear lockers and a disconnecting sway-bar, somewhere you might actually need that winch. It's easy to fly down a straight dirt road fast and make the raptor look good.

That video was filmed in the mojave desert near Randsburg CA. I have spent time out there exploring and off roading 80% of the terrain is rock-strewn canyons like the pics below. I went all the way through this trails with no vehicle damage I'd like to see a raptor do it!

id like to see a setup similar to mine in that comparison ...

Truth is, you cant find a new raptor for $60k ,70k, or 80k in south florida. If you want to Finance, youll be nearly $80k with dealer premium.
Maybe youll walk out for $75k for a loaded raptor if you paid cash.

so a complete thuren suspension could be the delta in price for sure.

Before I would to sink $80K on an F150 raptor, I'd buy the cheapest 2019 Ranger, at about $26K and can you imagine what upgrades and mods you could do with the other $54K ?? Hahaha.

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.
