That thing is cool, but short of a winning lotto ticket there's no way I'll be able to buy one. For $115,000 I could buy 2 or 3 4th Gen Power Wagons.

1946 technology vs 2012 technology. Interesting. That truck is faster than ours, hauls more payload than ours, has a better engine & trans than ours, had bigger tires, more ground clearance, none of the elecronic gremlins etc... etc... . Hmmmm...............Fire the head of Dodge & hire the guy that invented that truck & his assembly crew !!! LOL

Won't tow as much and has a max cruising speed of 75mph. Don't think I'd want to be cruising for hours through the desert with my foot mashed to the floor just to go 75. Nice toy, but a Megacab 4G is probably still a better truck for real use. All in all, I still prefer the 3G for my use.

They're a company located here in Wyoming.

My boss met the owner and toured their facilities, very impressive.

I would love to restore an older PW. I have a Willys to get done first though.

Just remember----what makes them suck on the highway, makes them shine off-road. If the 3rd & 4th Gen Power Wagons were all that, the military would be using them, just like they did back in the day. Now, they would go broke just trying to maintain them.

Still just an expensive toy. The 3G/4G are better all around trucks for the real world, unless you live in the boonies and never have to travel very far on highways. For what that retro PW costs, I'd rather have a new 911 and a used 3G.

After seeing it in person at the SEMA show I can say it is an amazing product worth every penny if you can use it and like it.

But a 911 class 5 unlimited Baja car and a used 3G power wagon sure sounds good too!
