The wife and kiddos are out of town so I have time to take both the Durango and PowWag in for recalls; the said my 2017 has four open recalls (3 flashes/software and 1 tailgate latch).
Anything that I should be aware of? I wanted to get this knocked out so I can install my locker bypass kit this weekend. I just hope that it doesn’t screw anything up, as my truck has been fine for the first 13k miles so far...
Thanks, Tom

Avoid Anchorage CJDR (by Merrill field) like the plague.
I have several recalls I’ve been putting off simply because getting them done is a PITA. If you want to share who you end up taking it to and how your experience goes I’d like to hear it.
The Lithia service department has been alright to deal with but they were hit or miss on loaner cars when they had my truck for warranty repairs.

Huh that’s funny, because my brother and I have had such horrible dealings with Lithia (with our Jeeps) that I decided to deal with Anchorage Chrysler. That being said, I haven’t had them do any service work yet, so I’ll let you know how it works out. Buying the PowWag and Durango from here went well and we were treated fairly.Low_Sky wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 10:56 amAvoid Anchorage CJDR (by Merrill field) like the plague.

I’m waiting for the Durango right now and then the PowWag is up next.

Anchorage CJDR has a bad reputation on the Jeep FB group for their service department killing Jeeps. I've never taken a vehicle to them, but having read other people's accounts, I never will.

Took mine to Wasilla Lithia. First time having anything performed there and they completed all the recalls in probably less than 2 hours. Call ahead and schedule with them. I had the day off and took the shuttle service. Seemed like I was home for 45 minutes before the driver was back to my house picking me up again lolLow_Sky wrote: ↑Fri Feb 15, 2019 10:56 amAvoid Anchorage CJDR (by Merrill field) like the plague.
