Adjustable Rear Lift Shackle

Post by Rob-Pod » Wed Jan 16, 2019 8:55 am

What are your thoughts on them?

I'm looking for an adjustable lift
shackle, preferably 1", 1.5", & 2".

I've never ran them before, so I'm
a lil leery about them. I've recently
swapped my Power Wagon axles
n suspension on to my Mega Cab.
I will only use my truck as a 1500,
The most I'll do with it is pull upto
7000lbs on my 7K car trailer.

What adjustable rear lift shackles?

They work just fine, I’ve had thurens on mine for a few years. I wouldn’t go wild with something huge but mine is 1.75” lift and I haven’t had any adverse effects.

Another vote for the Thuren shackles here too. Plus they’ll help smooth out the feel of the rear suspension. Makes for less binding swapping from rubber bushings to delrin and stainless

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.
