It's not photoshop dorks. Stop being grumpy old men. :p

Two beats, either the person who took it is the person driving it or this was a TFL fan not trying to get caught. Wife and I saw the Ford Ranger being photographed in Moab before it was announced, I took photos and sent those photos to Jalopnik >> https://jalopnik.com/looks-like-the-new ... 1821660039

Sometimes you just get so so photos.

The dingleberry on the roof is the Sat radio. I have one in the same place. It does look stupid, but it's there.

There is a camera under the Ram logo. Rear radar sensors in the rear tail lights, and I am not sure if the thing under the side mirror is a lane change camera system or a or what. Lane change warning systems usually aren't that large for the little safe to get over light in the mirror. There wasn't such a thing on the Rebel, which makes me think it's likely a camera. As you're more likely to tow with the 2500 and a camera that turns on with the blinker to show you down the side of the truck on the 8-inch display would be pretty damn useful. Especially if towing.

Judging by the exhaust, shock, wheels, tires, there is no mechanical changes other than the winch fairlead. So good on them for keeping the model but guessing it won’t be a must have due to upgrades.

is it to far fetched to believe theyre real photos but not taken by some random person passing by. rather a staged 'photo shoot' by tfl ?

Doubt it’s TFL but if it’s not a random, it was the driver of the truck. Most leaks are from insiders.

I just consider it enough to not make me want to get rid of my 2012 for a new one.

So wait, they are saying 2019? Does anyone actually know? Please tell me RAM isn't pulling a chevy and doing an inbetween model...

But they are also saying an all new isn't coming till 2022... which would mean unlike 2009-2010 Ram is skipping more than one year between the 1500 and 2500 redesigns? Really....

Which could indicate there is a problem with the new 1500.

Would make some sense as we r building the rfe for 3 more years. That would coincide perfectly if we get out empty plant cleared out and utilized in the next year.

They're changing out a plant in the states and installing new equipment to build the 5G trucks. So in the meantime. The trucks being built in Mexico is a stop gap model until the other plant is finished.

Remember the '87 - '91 Suburban, Blazer, Jimmy and Crew Cab C/K30's? New grill, lights and power mirrors was about the sum total of the delta.

This is no more than a new front clip, and some creature-feature options.

Who gave the green light to that design, Helen Keller? It's terrible. I cannot even imagine a die-hard Chebby fan defending that, and I grew up in GM Country.

If the typical Chevy styling trend between exterior and interior is followed, it's almost inconceivable how bad the inside will be...

To me it looks like real photos but staged. like it was posed and specific shots were taken. lights being on and lack of anything besides exterior lead me to believe that. just doesnt give the vibe of amatuer cell phone pics from a random guy visiting a grocery store
Well the cat is totally out of the bag. That's legit what we are getting next. Truck Trend just spied a BOAT TON of variants.
http://www.trucktrend.com/news/1812-spi ... uncovered/

Of interest:
However, our spy photographers told us to expect a massive interior overhaul for the 2020 Ram Heavy Duty lineup, meaning that although the trucks will receive a carryover cab structure, nearly everything the passengers see and touch will be new or significantly revised.

Someone on TFL took out the Chrome with photo shop thinking that was part of the problem. And bam, it looks even worse if you can believe it. The last time I saw a truck design this bad was that swap to the soft, rounded look by Ford for Women in the 90's.

Another interesting little factoid is we stop producing the 66RFE next week. So any 2019 with the 6.4 will have the 65.
