If it's about Power Wagons, all generations, this is where it'll go. This is the original PWR Forum Power Wagon Technical Discussion Section. And this includes everything that doesn’t fit in any one of the other categories related to the truck goes here!

Have 19,800 miles on my '17. Oil level doesn't get lower and I check the oil almost every time I get fuel. Compared to the 6.4L in my '15 Challenger, which has about 20,000 miles, the oil in the truck turns dark much sooner. Haven't experienced drivability issues and use the mfr recommended pennzoil in both. Change when the dummy light comes on or every 6 months, whichever comes first. They are different viscosities IIRC, but it probably also has to do with the tuning for each engine.

I'd just let the dealer chart the oil use like they want to and see where it goes from there.

My 16 has around 35K on it and doesn't burn any oil.

Well the dealership refused to run a consumption test because the burn rate is within chryslers specs.
