14’ electrical issues

If it's about Power Wagons, all generations, this is where it'll go. This is the original PWR Forum Power Wagon Technical Discussion Section. And this includes everything that doesn’t fit in any one of the other categories related to the truck goes here!

14’ electrical issues

Post by HvacWagon » Mon Nov 12, 2018 5:47 pm

New to the forum and the truck. Seems like almost every other week I have some type of electrical issue.
First started with the drivers side switch cluster. It will operate the back windows, but not the front, the locks, nor the mirrors. I do believe I have that traced to the module behind the door panel.
Secondly I started getting a notice my passenger brake light was out. Everything checked out on that end.
Lastly just last night my remote start failed to start the truck getting a “hood open” message. I bypassed the switch and I’m still getting the same code.
I don’t know much about the working of a 12v car system, but I do a lot of low volt (24v) at work with building controls.
If there’s a schematic anyone could pass along or some insight I’d appreciate it. Thinks!

Random stuff like that often resolves to the BCM.
