Re: New PW owner
Looks nice. I love the ram boxes. But don’t expect your steps to survive long off-road. And have a tire repair kit with the stock duratracks. Which I have not yet replaced either. Well, other than the one I destroyed.
2018 White Rambox, Diamondback HD bed cover, White Knuckle sliders, Carli and Purple Cranium diff guards, masterpull 11mm superline

Welcome Rusty.
I'm a new PW owner myself. Lots of knowledge on this site and these guys are great at sharing it.
The "get rid of your duratracs" hype is real. I didn't think too much of it but had 3 flats in 2 months with one tire ruined.

Great color!
x infinity on the Duratracs. I had them a couple sets on my last truck, this truck, blew the tread out on one and a sidewall on another. Pulled them off at 40k miles after buying two new ones and utilizing the spare in rotation. 20k miles on BFGs so far with no issues.
Otherwise the truck is ready to rock. Put on WK sliders.

Re: New PW owner
Welcome. Nice looking Wagon. 10 yrs old now but still loving our 08'.

Traded to 2019 ZR2, Red.
4Runner was a GREAT vehicle but could not even tow our 6x10 enclosed utility trailer comfortably, even when it was empty-ish.
It was time. Truck was still leaking BADLY every time it rained or snowed & melted. It was leaking at every single gasket (rear window, front window, all 4 doors). You could sit inside & watch it run down the inside of windshield, rear window & drip off the upper side door beams. It was molding on the inside & starting to stink. Needed new steering gearbox, shocks, new upgraded T-style steering, tires, brake lines, d/s manifold bolts that are barely recognizable due to rust-removed & replaced. Everyone around here would not even touch em once they looked at them.
So, say what you will. PW turned into a money pit. Was no longer a joy to drive. Hoping that this downsized 4x4 with lockers will fill the bill & have minimal problems, but..... As long as manufacturers keep making engineers design things that fail soon after warranty is up, we are going nowhere fast. Regardless of what you buy.

Me 3... ruined a duratrash in the pasture this weekend. Congrats on the PW ! I’m new too and still working my way through folks builds. This is a great site, I sold my M1715 And traded my diesel one ton in to order my powerwagen. It’s by far my favorite vehicle sine my 67 chevelle SS.
