I considered the 3" but went 2.5". I wasn't opposed to the money, but my best shocks even were Bilstein 7100s before. So this is a new world.

You was in the 'burgh. Should have let me know. I'm about 1 hour south of there.

The 7100's with the Carli Hemi valving was a good shock until I blew one out on the rear. Looking at the Thuren kings now.

Where an hour south? My office is in Cannonsburg, and I was in Bridgeport, Clarksburg, Cambridge and Zanesville this trip. Normally get to Massillon or Williamsport too...

I'm in Brownsville. My daughter lives in Cannonsburg. Just off of RT19. North of the race track.

Took a little longer than I anticipated but got the Boogie bumps, shocks, springs, new track bar and steering stabilizer in today.

Test drive was fun. Handles flatter. Hauled ass around a few corners and it stayed flat. Hit a few curbs on purpose. Washboard was a little bouncy (still have stock rear plus airbags).

My age is catching up on me, the second reservoir about killed my knees drilling the mounting holes. We will see how I feel tomorrow. Rear might have to wait..

My wife used to work over there. She worked as the office manger for WPX.

I’m old and my back hurts. And my knees. I’ll get to it. Plus it’s my only street legal vehicle and I needed to get beer to combat my knee and back pain. So I couldn’t leave it torn down overnight.

WPX sold out right? We cover them in ND but in this area it’s mainly Range, EQT, SWN, Cabot, Antero now.

They shut down operations in this state back in 2014. They gave my wife an early retirement package. Then they started to sell off parts of the company, and buy up parts of other companies. They're mainly a midwest, western company now. What company you work for?

BJ Services. We have frac and cement across the lower 48 and Western Canada.

I was going to add to this, is Thuren's gear is work of art. I had some of his second gen stuff, very functional, but his attention to detail keeps improving. Very nice.

You have to join next year for Rausch Creek. It's a good time with good people. It's only about a 4 hour drive.

Sounds fun, the furthest east I have ever wheel was eastern Illinois. The Appalachians look amazing, I have been in eastern KY/VA/WV and PA for work. Our frac manager has a decent JK, he's currently moving from Morgantown to Mill Hall (near Williamsport). I would imagine I could talk him into. Doubt my PW will make it out from Denver...

We welcome everyone. We got guy who comes with in a Cherokee. We call him Snowflake because his Jeep is white. He from Va. and makes the trip. If you want to see some video's from Rausch Creek. Go to youtube. Search for Rusty PW Nismo. That's my channel.

My wife is from Denver. Have 2 boys out there. One in Erie, and the other in Elisabeth. And all of her family is in the Denver area. We're out in Denver about 3 times a year. Next time out. I'll let you know.

Oh, you have the rears, you just didn't get to the rears. Ok, I thought you didn't buy rear shocks. That makes sense.

Exactly! I just did his 2.5" PW kit, and added the Boogie bumps and the steering stabilizer.

Heck yea!!

Did you gain any height out back? Is it so level that the back looks low?

Seems about the same, maybe a tad higher? Bags are at 5 psi, it looks pretty level even with the deck on. Empty, it will probably still be a bit tail high.

It's fast now, I likely should have done 2s instead of 3s, but it certainly handles way better.
