If it's about Power Wagons, all generations, this is where it'll go. This is the original PWR Forum Power Wagon Technical Discussion Section. And this includes everything that doesn’t fit in any one of the other categories related to the truck goes here!

Dunno if you know this, but Neil (Neotech/nts007) is making 3rd gen high clearance bumpers now. He's mad about the forum being down and not upgraded, so he won't log on. But here is his site: https://www.mapleoffroad.com/new-produc ... ks7xvfba3f

You 3rd gen guys are always complaining about options :thppt:

Yeah, I don't think you can really get any more high clearance than that for a 3rd gen. And it should be stout as heck.

Was good to see a PW on Truck Night

vie ... =13&t=2333

2010 with 37" hooves, controlled by numerous Thuren parts and Thuren Custom King 2.5's (Moved to a new home)

I only do what the majority of the 4 voices in my head tell me to. In most cases, I ignore two of them because one doesn't speak English, and I suspect the other is talking to someone else.

I told Lenzi & Jon I didn't give to rips about seeing Kyle and whatever face off at the end. I really wanted to see the PW run the Green Hill. I think it would have stomped the competition.

But I'm super happy for them, they're already house hunting and can really use the money. Very good people. Anyone who comes to PWIM this May can meet Jon & Lenzi. Both have been extremely helpful with these years planing.

I'm also in the market for a rear bumper now. Warn makes one that looks fairly nice. The 'ascent'.

The more I've thought about it, the more I don't want to actually move my hitch up. I do and I don't. Moving it, means changing all the dynamics I already figured out with my hitch setup. And especially the dynamics of how the WD works.

Not to sound like a jerk, but if your lights don’t match BD’s color, you have the wrong lights :)

The Work/Scene style is exactly what I recommend for backup lights. Those have a really nice spread.

would the WD not work the same with a drop hitch extension? same hitch height, same tongue weight?

i would be all for moving it to a high tuck position as my d-ring is pretty much full time, and i wont be towing anytime soon.

but its been mentioned that the hitch can take a direct hit off a ledge/drop, with no damage other then surface scratches.
no reason to move it then, as it will protect the paint on the bumper, and keep little Carrollas from getting too far underbelly.
