Currently Have Airlift Ultimate bags, Daystar cradles.

Planning on decent shocks (Thuren King 2.5"s). Would you do their rear coils and/or trackbar? Are the springs taller at all, if not, should I add a spacer?

I occasionally do tow and haul fairly heavy (SXS on deck, plus tongue weight of trailer likely is approaching 5000-5500 lb on rear axle. Nothing for the axle or tires, but definitely more than a half ton coil is designed for. Obviously the bags have capacity.)

Mainly I am empty though. (Just recovery gear/tire chains/gear bag)

Thoughts on rear suspension?

I would definitely do the rear trackbar, even if you intend to keep the entire truck stock. I'd probably skip the rear coils unless you're going to run Thuren tuned shocks. Since you already have airbags there is no point to adding a coil spacer.

Do the rear trackbar. The stock one is what causes the rear to squat and wiggle around corners. If your going to run Kings then do his springs. They are matched well and a lot softer but you have airbags to compensate for towing. I'd add a Traxada one inch spacer on top of Thuren springs. Without it I was a hair nose high with the 1.5 springs up front.

I spec’d a similar setup recently. The rear trackbar is going to be a really nice improvement and I recommend it for even a bone stock truck. Especially if you’re going to have weight up high you’ll want the rear trackbar and the handling improvement it gives.

You can do stock or Thuren rear coils BUT in order to run Thuren shocks you need his coils, due to their extended lengths being much longer so that your coils don’t fall out in full droop. I’ve done a few trucks with Thuren rear coils and a 1” spacer and that works well. He coils are softer but also taller when compressed so they ride much better but can still handle a fair load.

Having a SXS on top of the truck I’d go straight to King 2.5’s for the control they offer. You can still choose which stage valving you want but I’d probably stick in the 2-4 range and tell don your plans for the SXS.

To elaborate on this, for someone reason, there is a misconception that adding his coils will cause your ass end to drag worse than stock. I believed this too. I was wrong. It's really not that much worse than our stock coil. If comparing to a standard 2500, then it's noticeable. And I think somehow that got translated to the Power Wagons. But compared to how our trucks sag currently, it's a MINOR difference between the two. I posted measurements of this in my build thread awhile back I think with some weights in the truck.

Thuren's setup feels worlds better when you're running the whole deal. Especially when towing. That rear track bar is worth the money out of the gate. And is one of the first things I did.

Like DamageWagon said, you need to run his shocks with his coils for best results. But oh good golly, is it AMAZEBALLS

I am running a 1-inch spacer because when combined with the WD hitch, it takes up the compression slack I had without using Airbags.

It's late and my brain is fried. Been looking at arrays and variables all day ok so that made no fucking sense 2/4th but the point remains, the difference isn't OMG, it's more like, you need a tape measure to tell.
