My Duratrash tires had some cupping on the right front after 10K or so. Or simply a slightly uneven wear. I thought maybe alignment, but the truck does not pull at all. So will wait and monitor the new tires. That was at 65PSI probably the majority of the time. Soon after I went to 35-45. And really guys to get a few more miles out of those stock Duratrash going down on air pressure is huge. I was able to go almost 3 weeks with out a flat tire after lowering the air pressure! At 65PSI a pack of bubble gum in the road will cause a crack in the carcass.

So far I love my BFGs. They look good, have better traction and no longer break traction climbing out of the valley each day or making the hard turn into my garage, handle better and no more flat tires. Just ordered the Pro Cal so I can adjust for size and pressure finally. 35s are clearly a great daily driver size.

Wow I had pictured more or less street tires but I just looked at pics of the Duratracs. Got to admit I didn't expect to see an off road worthy looking tire! but then again I don't recall running into anyone on the trails with duratracs either.

traction is decent. But they don’t hold up. I destroyed one on the same spot that 9 other people drove through without damage. Ant then I put a hole in the tread of another driving the 5 miles to where we stopped for the night.

If they were not made out of glass and helium balloons they would be usable. Not as good as other off-road tires, but usable at at least. After a few nights like that you quickly realize it wont stop. Make sure to run 35PSI until you can get new tires. You'll get less flat tires.

Even the dealer admits these tires are crap, and that is surprising.

these pw's are just too heavy for bfg at's. had several sets. never again. i welcomed the Duratracs when they came out standard on the pw.

but Toyo sure seems to be the way people are going now.

Yea I think the toyo open country AT2 would be a much better tire for the PW (like they put on the rebel). But of course, in the 35" variation (or at least the 285/75/17).
