I didn't take it that way at all. That was just an in jest reply.
I spent most of PWIM with it removed because it does ride better. But once the tent is on, or the Airstream hooked up, it's needed. I've been thinking about making quick disconnects for fast removal for crawling stuff. But a couple bolts isn't bad either. We shall see if I get around to it.

Check your mounting bushings. Somehow my front driver side bushing on top of the shock is already torn and needs replaced. Depending on what I hit in the road, it will make a clunk noise.
