Air Box Hole Help

Post by thedriver21 » Sat Apr 14, 2018 9:52 pm

Need advice on covering the hole and shock mount in the air box after installing kings and the thuren shock mount. I went out to the mountains after installing said parts and was curious to see if there would be any water buildup since it was also raining that weekend. Sure enough, there was a tiny bit of water. How should I go about covering this up so its close to if not completely dust and water tight?

Ha I just left mine open. More airflow. My Wix filter takes care of water ingress. Hit a creek crossing going 55 and pressure washed the engine compartment, pulled the filter on the other side and it was dripping with water but did not soak any in. Beat it on the bumper and put it back in! You could say I washed my filter.
