Factory front coil spring bow

Post by Easttnrhino » Mon Apr 02, 2018 5:10 am

I know there has been a bunch posted on the front 4th gen looking like it wants to spit the front coil springs out. But my question is (and I apologize if it been answered, I could not find it) if I have my front aligned to thuren specs will it help. I have a 1.5" spacer on top of my stock springs, wish I had done thuren coils from reloader's post it looks like they handle it better. Thanks
Enjoying beautiful east TN

No, the alignment will not help. That was done by design, put the truck up on a jack and lower the front axle all the way out and watch.

Really, it's a non-concern, dunno why people freak about it. Stop worrying and enjoy your truck.

No, they will never be straight. My PS Thuren spring is bowed too.

did any you guys have trouble getting the passenger side stock spring out ? almost like the passenger side of the axle cant drop down as much as the driver side. unless my radius arm bolts are over tight and binding it up or something
