Herdina 4wd trial in Arches------any info

Does anyone have info on the Herdina 4wd Trail in Arches NP? I have a stock 2017 PW. Tried the search but haven't found much.

Was on that years ago with Leif, and Carlos. It's the back way into Arches NP. Drove in the back and went out the front, and didn't have to pay at the gate.

Nothing too hard about it. Easy to get lost tho. Take a GPS, and map with you. Leif knew where it was at. And how to get to it. We spotted a couple doing it under one of the arches.

When they spotted us. They got dressed and left. They hiked in from the other side.

They are doing construction and you won't be able to go out the front right now.

There is a lot in Moab you can do with your stock Power Wagon. A LOT.

I believe we took that trail last year when they were doing construction at the end of Arches. We could take that route or take the road. That was a fun route, easy, some rough sections but it was not technical or sketchy at all, mostly sand wash or packed dirt. There were some cool dinosaur tracks along the way and campsites visible from the road. You could lose the road if you weren’t paying attention but it isn’t bad. Didn’t see anyone else out there except for the campgrounds a distance away and right by the main highway
